The transmission in my El Camino had been previously rebuilt and there were some problems that needed to be sorted out. Mike took the time to make sure everything was addressed and repaired to provide a fully functional transmission. I was very happy with the results !

Mike and his team handled my transmission issue from start to finish in a friendly and professional manner. They were efficient and honest. I had come to them because I was suspicious of an alarming report that I got (along with a steep repair estimate) from another shop. The accurately and honestly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in the same day for less than half the cost of the suspicious estimate. Mike's team has a reputation for honesty and trustworthiness and they lived up to their reputation with me.

I purchased a used vehicle from a dealer back in September 2020. A week after I had it, I began having problems with the car. The transmission warning light came on. I took it back to where I bought the ca. Their mechanic did not have the tools to properly diagnose the issue. They suggested that I take it to the local Ford dealer. The local Ford dealer kept my car for about 6 weeks to fix the transmission issue. They also tried to gouge me for more money because they did not want to do what the warranty company told them to do. I finally got my car back and now it had a leak under the engine. Two independent mechanics agreed that the leak came from something that was broken when the transmission was repaired. I did not want to deal with the local Ford dealers service department again so I took my car to Certified Transmission. I am so grateful for Paul, Tara and the skilled mechanics who worked on my car. They were quick, extremely easy to work with, even working with the warranty company and the dealer I bought the car from. They kept me informed of what was going on with the car and the situation. I have complete confidence in Certified Transmissions in Prescott. They are wonderful people doing great work. My car runs like a dream and no more leaks!! Thank you so much!
