Meet Our Staff

The staff at our Certified Transmissions Inc. service and repair center are all highly trained and certified technicians with one common goal in mind - quality service at honest prices. Our transmission center is diligent in applying the ATRA Member Code of Ethics to all of our transmission repair and diagnostic services for the purpose of better assisting our customers with their repair needs and concerns. Adherence to the ATRA Code of Ethics also helps ensure that when you bring in your vehicle for transmission service or repair you know that you are receiving honest and professional service from our technical staff. Our transmission technicians are always polite and courteous in their effort to provide you with the quality of service you want and deserve.

Mike and Sharon - Owners

Originally from the Midwest, Mike's first experience in the industry was through his uncle's transmission shop. Mike and Sharon moved to Prescott and opened their family business in 1987. Mike has over 25 years experience and many certifications including: GM Factory, Toyota Factory, ATRA, ASE Master Automobile Technician, ASE Service Consultant, and AAM (Associate of Automotive Management) through AMI (Automotive Management Institute). He attends most technical and management seminars. Mike is currently president of Arizona's ATRA chapter, he is the former president of the local ASA chapter, is on the Board of Advisors for Prescott High School's Automotive Technologies division, and is an active board member for Yavapai College's Automotive Technologies division.

Marissa - Office Manager / Customer Service

Marissa grew up learning the family business and has over 11 years full-time experience. She is the Secretary/Treasurer for the local Prescott ASA Chapter and also organized and directed a local Car Care Clinic in 2004 for ASA. She attends most management seminars and is ASE certified as a Service Consultant.

Paul - Service Advisor

Paul grew up in the automotive field and started by working at his dad's service station. He has over 8 years experience as a Service Advisor and is certified through ASE as a Service Consultant and Parts Specialist. Paul has his AAM (Associate of Automotive Management) through AMI (Automotive Management Institute). He also attends most management seminars & has been a part of our team since 2003

Andy - Shop Foreman / Diagnostician / Rebuilder

Andy has been in the transmission industry for 30+ years. His experience includes dealerships and owning a shop for 3 years. He attends most technical seminars and is certified in Ford Master Drivetrain, as an ATRA Rebuilder, ASE Master Automobile Technician, ASE Undercar Specialist, and ASE Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technician. He joined our team in 2003.

Kevin - Technician / Diagnostician

Joining our team in March 2008, Kevin is certified as an ASE Master Automobile Technician, ASE Undercar Specialist, ASE Advanced Level Specialist (Engine Performance), ASE Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician, and ASE Alternate Fuels Technician. While attending NAU he majored in Electrical Engineering. He is an honor graduate in Electronics, Communication & Navigation, and Radar through the Airforce. Kevin has 15 years experience in the automotive field; he also continues his education every year by attending many training classes.

Chris - Technician

One of our team since February 2009, Chris has 3 ASE certifications and is currently working towards becoming an ASE Master Certified Automobile Technician. He has Ford training in Engine Performance, Theory & Operation as well as Electronic Systems Diagnosis. Chris also attends many educational seminars each year.
